Many people are bracing for tighter times economically. However, while many aged care providers and services may continue to rely on the profits they make from residents’ care, Odyssey won’t. That’s because, before any aged care reform, we set out to be the change we want to see.

What is ‘care at cost’?
It means that Odyssey doesn’t make any profit from the care services we deliver to our residents. This is not the industry norm—and that’s the point! We do everything we can to make our first-class care affordable and accessible.
For example, Odyssey’s in-house care is delivered onsite, which means you never have to pay for your care professional’s travel time. And if you only need a very quick treatment, medication drop off or consultation, you will only ever pay for the time required.
What does ‘tailored care’ mean?
Tailored care is all about you. So, whatever you need, whenever you need it, our team is ready and capable of providing that care.
- We have a large, onsite team of care professionals, including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and carers.
- We deliver a spectrum of care services from light touch assistance through to extra high levels of care and palliative care, as well as our new initiative for people living with dementia, Memory Lane.
- All your care is delivered in your own home, when and if you need it.
- If you live with your partner, we’ll develop individual care plans for both of you, enabling you to continue to live together in the comfort of your apartment.
- Our FlexiCare packages are unique to every resident—so you only pay for what you actually need.
Does Odyssey accept Home Care Packages?
Absolutely. Odyssey’s care packages can supplement any additional services you need, beyond what is covered by your Home Care Package.
Depending on the level of Home Care Package you receive, you can get assistance with personal care, nursing services, allied health, cleaning, home maintenance and modifications, assistive technology, transport and social support services. Alternatively, if you’re happy with the external care providers you already use, you can continue to use them at Odyssey.
