In this month’s episode of Your Retirement Years presented by 4CRB, Odyssey’s Business Development Manager Rebecca Moraitis talks to Rob Grover, the former President and life member of Gold Coast Retirees Incorporated. With a background in accounting, Rob has been a certified practising accountant and then moved into financial planning.

As someone who loves working with people, Rob enjoyed the closer connection of being a certified financial planner before progressing and becoming an accredited Self-Managed Super Fund specialist. Before retiring in 2011, Rob worked on a fee for service basis, unlike many others in the industry. Rebecca and Rob discuss the things people need to consider when entering retirement, how to balance competing interests and the benefits of seeking a financial advice.
