With a background in real estate and insurance, Carol wears many hats in her role, from coordinating activities for seniors with the Gold Coast Council to volunteering for Parkinson’s QLD, where she runs a monthly support group at Palm Beach. She’s also the inspiration behind the friendly dementia choir that’s bringing joy to so many.
Together, Rebecca and Carol dive into what fuels their passion for aged care, the importance of helping seniors stay active and connected, the impact of building vibrant social communities and the misunderstanding around home care packages as well as their benefits.
