Events Manager at The Events Agency, Emma Porter has been involved in bringing the event to life for the past few years, working alongside Councillor Darren Taylor, the Chevron Island Business and Residents Association (CIBRA), and the wider community. Christian Harvey, founder of Urban Farm Coffee, first joined the event with a pop-up in 2017 and has been a passionate supporter ever since. In today’s chat, Phil, Emma and Christian unpack what makes the event so special, what participants can expect and why events like this are more than just an enjoyable experience.

On Sunday 24 August 2025, from 12 noon to 4 pm, Chevron Island will burst into life with a street stage of live music, roving performers, vibrant market stalls, and pop-up experiences. Local restaurants will be serving up mouth-watering specials, while pop-up bars keep the main street buzzing. Families can look forward to dedicated kids’ entertainment and activities, and community groups will be out in force, sharing their projects and passions.
