Gold Coast grandfather launches online learning program for pre-schoolers
13 May, 2022
Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities’ very own Dr Charles Margerison has created and launched a new online educational program aimed at pre-schoolers, which is currently being trialled in centres across the Gold Coast.
Children from Little Scholars, as well as 7 News Gold Coast visited Odyssey on Wednesday 11 May to enjoy Imagineland, an interactive web-based program designed to inspire creativity, foster an active imagination and develop an appreciation for music.
Odyssey resident and program creator Dr Charles Margerison decided to give life to the series of fun and educational stories he had initially written for his grandchildren.
Imagineland ignites curiosity in little learners and their families, and the songs, games and characters provide a fun experience while learning about key concepts.
The program has helped children and their families understand the importance of kindness, friendship, keeping healthy, respecting the environment and respecting each other.
The colourful and engaging program has been vetted by educators, ensuring key learning areas for children aged three to five years old have been met and the outcomes have been identified in order to support learning centres.
The community always looks forward to welcoming back Little Scholars and seeing them get a kick out of the new educational program.
Produced on the Gold Coast, original artwork, songs, videos and games across a huge variety of activities set Imagineland apart from other online and offline educational programs.
A Psychologist by profession, Dr Charles Margerison is the founder of Amazing People Worldwide and Amazing People Schools and has written a wide range of books on business and educational issues.
