Queensland Police Pipes and Drums performs at Odyssey

A very big thanks to the Queensland Police Pipes and Drums (QPP&D) and 9 News Gold Coast for visiting Odyssey yesterday! It was an honour to welcome the esteemed and highly sought-after QPP&D to our community, and their musical performance brought immense joy to our residents. It was also very special to see the participation of our resident Norm, a former band member, who joined in on the drums.

Music has a unique and beautiful ability to lift spirits and events like this help foster a sense of unity and shared appreciation, especially when the performers are pillars in the community. Police presence not only adds to the community’s sense of security, but also helps cultivate positive relationships and a harmonious environment. The QPP&D offer free performances, between 30 to 40 minutes, to a number of community groups and members. This was a memorable experience for everyone at Odyssey, and we are grateful for the opportunity to create such cherished moments for our residents.
