Your family is always welcome

Friends and family are integral to enjoying life. Our philosophy at Odyssey is ‘it’s your home, your way’. We want you to experience the freedom of independence with in-built care. You can:

  • Make your own schedule 
  • Leave Odyssey whenever you want to
  • Have guests over at any time you please. This includes sleepovers! 

When you move to Odyssey, your pets are welcome too. We understand these furry (or not) friends are a part of your family too. Our residents have pets ranging from goldfish to cats (who tend to keep an eye on one another), dogs to birds.

Since the beginning of Odyssey, we’ve used the latest technology to monitor and prioritise our residents’ care—without invading their privacy.

Our enhanced emergency alerting systems provide extra confidence and peace of mind to residents. And help is only ever a push of a button away. Our care team is located onsite 24 hours a day and will respond to emergency calls within minutes.

Our concierge services ensure you can enjoy your life without stress. Need help with a piece of technology? Want to book a taxi or find a new restaurant? Our concierge team is here to help.

Our residents also have several cosy areas to just sit back and relax. Our Piano Lounge is the perfect spot to socialise in a comfortable seat and enjoy the gentle sound of our classic piano. Feeling like a bit of sun? Every second level of Odyssey features a Sky Garden, an outdoor lounge area with lush greenery, and a view. 

Our library offers lovely seating areas for you to dive into a novel or you can borrow one to enjoy wherever suits you. Or maybe you have wine on your mind, in which case you can stock your favourite bottle of red, white, or rose in our fine wine cellar.

Flexicare plans

Odyssey was created to be the better alternative to aged care. You can see this at every step of your Odyssey journey, especially in our care packages. We prioritise your independence with care built-in and readily available. 

Our Flexicare packages are delivered at cost and are fully customisable to you. This enables you to have as much independence as you desire, while still having the reassurance that care is available to you 24/7. 

We offer 4 different packages for different care levels:

  • Initial Care:

For those who require some help and don’t have extensive and complex medical requirements. 

  • Moderate Care:

For residents who need more than what Initial Care provides but do not require all that High Care entails.

  • High Care:

For those who require assistance at several points throughout the day with a number of different tasks, and tend to need help with mobility.

  • Extra High Care:

For residents require attention to ensure their needs are met and are comfortable. Dementia and palliative care is also available.

At Odyssey, our care packages are compatible with government-funded care packages, including the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Packages. Our 24/7 onsite team is happy to work with your current care providers to ensure you are comfortable with staff that knows and loves you. We also have a Registered Nurse in attendance on every shift to provide clinical peace of mind.
